I have a unique need to install a couple wireless video cameras on my property and would like to use solar panels and a Voltaic device to power them.
My question for the group is can this arrangement work to power a 12V CCTV wireless security camera solely off the Voltaic battery charger and solar panels (in a continuous use environment)? The maximum power consumption for the device is 200mA.
Any feedback from users who have successfully done this is greatly appreciated and the list of parts needed to make this work would be most helpful.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have any products that would meet your needs. We recently came out with our first “Always-On” battery that would offer the functionality you’re describing (in which it powers a device 24/7), but it only outputs 5 V. Our only battery capable of 12-V output, the V60, does not yet have that functionality. We are considering it for future versions, but it isn’t a sure thing and wouldn’t be incorporated anytime too soon. Sorry we don’t have a good solution for your setup. Low-voltage hard-wire might be your best bet. Best of luck with getting it up and running.
