Can I charge V39 USB Battery with 5V 0.5A?

Nathan Sep 30, 2014 05:53PM EDT

I have a USB charger from my dynohub and was wondering the compatibility with the V39 USB Battery.

I know it will take a long time, but is it safe to charge this battery with the 5V 0.5A my Sinewave Cycles Reactor provides? It will not be a constant voltage either, as I will be slowing down and stopping from time to time.

Can I "through charge" with this battery?

Thanks!

Hello, yes this should be safe for our batteries. They are rated to charge at over an Amp, and are safe to charge at low current as well.
